American Resources Fund I, LLC

American Resources, Inc. formed American Resources Fund I, LLC in 2017 as a special purpose vehicle to make an investment in Rockdale Marcellus, LLC.  Rockdale Marcellus, LLC is an Exploration and Production company headquartered in Houston, Texas and owns natural gas assets in the Marcellus/Utica play in Northern Pennsylvania.

Norexas

American Resources, Inc. formed Norexas, LLC in 2013 as an investment vehicle used to purchase underexploited oil and gas assets. Norexas’ current assets are in the Permian Basin and the Texas Gulf Coast. ARI operates the assets of Norexas and provides all corporate general and administrative services for the company.

Norexas’ first acquisition was the Paluxy Project located in Edwards County, Texas on the far Eastern side of the Permian Basin. Norexas holds approximately 5,000 acres in the play and is designing an enhanced oil recovery project that began in 2016.

Norexas’ second acquisition was the Fort Stockton field located just outside the town of Fort Stockton Texas. The field has approximately 60 producing wells producing from the Queen formation. Fort Stockton was exploited through redevelopment and optimization of surface facilities resulting in increased production and lowered lease operating expenses. ARI identified 35 recompletion opportunities and performed a water flood study indicating potential 4MMBOE recoverable reserves.  The was field monetized in November 2015.

Drillmar Oil & Gas

American Resources, Inc. operated the assets of Drillmar Oil & Gas in Louisiana and the Texas Gulf Coast from 2013 through 2016 on behalf of creditors related to Drillmar Oil & Gas’ 2009 bankruptcy.

Drillmar Oil & Gas’ assets included the St. Martinville field in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, the South Alvin field in Brazoria County, Texas and the N. Francitas field in Jackson County, Texas.  ARI facilitated the sale of all of Drillmar Oil & Gas assets beginning with the Alvin field in 2014 and ending with the St. Martinville field in 2016.

ARI provides all corporate general and administrative services for Drillmar Oil & Gas.

MMB Oil

MMB Oil LLC is a 50/50 joint venture between American Resources, Inc. and Impact Technology Systems AS (ITS) of Norway.  ITS is a development stage company that has developed a surface based pressure pulse stimulation technology to enhanced oil recovery.  ARI through management of MMB Oil has been instrumental in helping ITS prove its technology through two field pilot tests currently underway.  ITS technology is marketed in Texas exclusively through MMB Oil.
